An annual celebration of arts, culture and community taking place across Hackney from 4-14 June

Returning in summer 2026, Hackney Art Week is a borough-wide celebration of contemporary creativity, bringing together more than 60 artists and creatives across 50 venues in one of London’s most dynamic cultural areas.

Art, music and culture spill across Hackney — from ceramics markets, sound systems and outdoor projections to unexpected art installations, sculptures, and exhibitions throughout the borough.

People gathered outside an art gallery with a sign display showing '61 L H BROWN 61'. The crowd includes women, men, and a child, some engaged in conversation and some looking at their phones. A scooter is parked in front of the gallery.

Taking place across Dalston, Stoke Newington, Haggerston, London Fields, Clapton, De Beauvoir and Hackney Wick–this Fringe-style event brings together emerging artists, collectives, and East London creatives.

More than 60 artists across 50 venues.

Art, music, workshops, film, literature, performance come together.
